Glenwood Vineyards

Franschhoek | Cape Winelands | Western Cape

GlenWood Wine Estate is a boutique Franschhoek wine farm set in the unspoilt Robertsvlei Valley, where winemaking is shaped by nature, heritage, and a strong commitment to conservation. Surrounded by indigenous fynbos and rich biodiversity, GlenWood produces wines that reflect a careful balance between sustainable farming, environmental stewardship, and authentic regional character.

GlenWood Wine Estate is situated in the picturesque Robertsvlei Valley near the village of Franschhoek in the Western Cape, an area with a rich agricultural history dating back to the early 1800s. Originally farmed with a variety of crops, including grapes supplied to the local wine co-operative, the land was subdivided in 1984 when GlenWood was established on 52 hectares. Today, the estate is framed by indigenous fynbos within the Cape Floral Kingdom, creating a pristine natural setting that plays an important role in the identity and expression of GlenWood’s wines.
